Japanese characters consist of two types of phonogram (HIRAGANA & KATAKANA)
and an ideogram (KANJI). We usually use the combination of HIRAGANA and
KANJI. In the case of loanwords, we use KATAKANA. In addition, we can express
the phonograms by using the Roma alphabet. Japanese pronunciation consists
of 5 vowels (A, I, U, E, O) and 14 consonants (K, S, T, N, H, M, Y, R,
W, G, Z, D, B, P). In the case of typewriting, we type HIRAGANA or KATAKANA
by using the combination of alphabetical vowels and consonants, and HIRAGANA
can be converted to KANJI by pressing the conversion key later. In
this page, HIRAGANA, KATAKANA, and 50 KANJI will be introduced. Please
enjoy Japanese!
